My Captured Moment – Panda Love

The love affair began when the little girl was about 18 months old. Panda was now her clear favourite (there were doggy and mouse at some stage but they didn’t last very long).

The morning after….

Panda was quickly becoming irreplaceable so much that the girls parents decided to get a “back up” Panda in case Panda got lost. Well the little girl was not stupid and could not be fooled “that’s not my Panda! It’s Emma’s Panda!” (Emma is her aunty who had imported “back up” Panda from Germany).

As the little girl was generally kind and loving, however, she adopted “back up” Panda and renamed him “Emma’s Panda” who was now allowed to sleep together with Panda next to the little girl’s bed.

Soon there was “Little Panda” as well… (not entirely sure how this happened) but he was adopted too and from then on the little girl could not go to sleep without Panda, Emma’s Panda and Little Panda sleeping next to her.

The little girls baby brother was at some stage getting quite interested in the Panda family but he quickly understood that they were not to be taken out of their bed, touched or even looked at for too long…

And then one day on a trip to the big blue and yellow shop the little girl suddenly got really excited as she saw…

All of Panda’s, Emma’s Panda’s and Little Panda’s friends and extended family! Unfortunately they had to stay in the blue and yellow shop…

  1. Ah bless, isn’t it funny how they just latch on to certain things. My oldest had a goofy he took everywhere and youngest a Mickey and Minnie mouse the have been all over with is, but are sadly packed in the loft now x

    1. Yes it is funny! And they choose them all by themselves. I wanted her to have a blanket because it was easier to wash but it had to be Panda! Xx

  2. My 16 year old still has his good old faithful saggy George monkey… somewhere in the loft we have the emergency standby New George ,George the third ,mini George,Puppet George and Baby George but none of them ever made the grade to smell like the original

  3. Aw it looks like Panda is truly loved. This friendship looks like it will stand the test of time. Poppy has a lamb that’s been her favourite for the past eighteen months (she’s only 27months) and it doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon. Although, I did have to pop him in the washing machine the other day. Love the Yellow and Blue shop… tee hee hee!
Thank you so much for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx

  5. Too cute!! Love this! And fab hair 🙂 I know, Lottie has a monkey and it’s her favourite thing! Takes him everywhere. Harry never seemed to bother though – he’d much rather have a toy car! Jess xx #sundaystars

  6. My son has a red dog he’s very attached to although it does stay in the draw rather than on his bed now that he’s nearly 12 🙂
