It’s been a while since I posted any “Captured Moments” so I thought it’s definitely time for a new one!
It’s such a lovely idea by Running in Lavender to go through your phone or camera every week and post a picture or series of pictures that are very special and memorable to you. I really enjoy looking back at them and hope the kids will too when they are older.
This picture is probably now my favourite picture of all times and we do have lots of great pictures of Maya and me doing yoga together!
It was taken during our possibly last term-time holiday – she will start school in September – in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. It was lovely and warm but not too hot and we shared a beautiful villa directly by the beach with friends and their two boys. The kids had a great time, spending most of the day in the huge jacuzzi in the garden, my husband went for a 10k run/walk every morning and I enjoyed doing lots of yoga in the garden with that beautiful view!
Sometimes the kids join in when I do yoga, sometimes they don’t but they love anything where they can climb on top of course!
Maya, who is three and a half, has now understood that Mummy likes taking pictures of her doing a yoga pose so she pretty much refuses to do anything as soon as there is a camera around! It wasn’t until her friend was very happy to sit on top of “the mountain” that she actually joined in!
I love how she perfected her yogi legs and hands and if there was any sound with this picture you would hear a lovely OMMMMMM which she and her little brother find hilarious of course.
Ah bless that is so sweet that they get involved al little x
That is a photo to treasure. It’s nice that your little ones join in with your Yoga and your little one looks like she is already in a better place.
xx
Ah like mother, like daughter. Love this picture, it’s just perfect – the scenery, your pose and Maya is just a little star. Welcome back honey!! Thank you so much for linking up to #mycapturedmoment xx
